Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay in Nagoya, I had the opportunity to experience a hotel that merges traditional Japanese hospitality with modern conveniences, offering a unique blend that appealed to my tastes as a marine biologist and nature lover. The spacious connecting rooms provided ample space for my family of five, enhancing our comfort despite the decor reflecting the hotel's age. The walking distance to Nagoya JR station made exploration effortless, while nearby Lawson's was perfect for grabbing onigiri for breakfast before our daily adventures. The hotel staff were generally helpful, and the luggage transfer service added an extra layer of convenience to our stay. Private parking was available at a reasonable cost, though I appreciated the transparency regarding the additional surcharges. This hotel stands out as a suitable base for anyone seeking to immerse themselves in the local culture, with easy access to historical icons and vibrant eateries, making it more than just a mere stopover during your travels in Japan.
